This is the look that Katy Perry unveiled to promote her ET music video, which you can see in my original Katy Perry contact lenses post. It just shows, with a pair of decent contacts and a little creativity you can get an incredible look.

On Monday I talked about the best contact lenses for the Black Swan look but if you want to recreate the look, you’ll need more than just Black Swan contact lenses. The whole Black Swan look includes very distinctive make up with a white face, dark lips and dramatic eye make up. Thankfully You Tube beauty expert Klaire De Lys has posted an excellent Black Swan make up tutorial that shows you exactly how to recreate Natalie Portman’s look. Once you have the make up and contact lenses sorted all you need is a black tutu, tiara and black ballet slippers.

Best Match Black Swan Contact Lenses

In the Black Swan make up tutorial Klaire De Lys is wearing Funky Eyes Black Contact Lenses but personally I think that the contact lenses below are a better match. Natalie Portman wore hand painted contacts for the movie and they have a red ring around the outside. I suggest either the i-Glow Bulls Eye or Red Manga contact lenses to complete your look. The i-Glow Bulls Eye lenses have a thicker red ring so they are probably the best match. They are UV lenses but don’t worry, they look great in daylight too.

Mystique Yellow Contacts

First up is Mystique, one of the most enduring X Men baddies. In X Men: First Class, Mystique hasn’t quite discovered her evil streak and works alongside the other X Men as she develops her powers. Her look is pretty similar to in the Bryan Singer X Men trilogy, with textured blue skin, auburn hair and yellow contact lenses. The grown-up Mystique is played by Jennifer Lawrence but the clearest image I could find shows her as a child. To recreate this look I recommend our Avatar Contact Lenses. They have realistic shading that will give a very similar effect.

Beast Yellow Contacts

Also given his own character trailer is Beast, another blue skinned (and furred) X Men. Beast is played by Nicholas Hoult and we see him in both his mutant and human forms and it looks like they have gone for a more ‘realistic’ look than in the previous trilogy. He has light blue skin with shaggy fur, prehensile feet and bright yellow eyes. For Beast’s look I recommend any plain yellow contact lenses. His eyes are brighter than Mystique’s, with a more solid colour.
