If you have a fabulous pair of false eyelashes to wear to your New Years parties and you’re unsure how to put them on then have a look at our instructions and handy tips below.

Trim the Eyelashes

Hold one eyelash up to you eye so you know how much to trim off. If you find the eyelashes look to false you and trim a few individual lashes to make them look more natural. However you should know that eyelashes should be longer towards to corner of your eye and that lash lengths should vary.

Apply Eyelash Glue
If you find that the eyelash glue that comes with false eyelashes is difficult to use and you find that you squeeze too much on, then you can purchase eyelash glues separately with an attached brush. This will make it easier to control and stop you from wasting glue.

Put Your Eyelashes On
Pick your eyelashes up with some tweezers and carefully place it as close to your natural eyelash line. Once you are happy with your positioning, you should press the ends down and hold in place until the glue dries (40 to 60 seconds)

Apply Makeup

Once your eyelash glue has dried you will be able to apply mascara on your lashes and use black liquid eyeliner to fill in the gaps between your natural and false eyelashes. Your friends and family won’t realise you have falsies on and will be really impressed.

Tips
When taking eyelashes off, you should pull carefully from the outer edges and then wash off the remaining glue with a wet face cloth.

Always store your eyelashes in it’s original packaging so you can reuse them again and prevent losing them.

When reusing them, soak your used eyelashes in warm soapy water to remove dirt, makeup and glue. Then gently dry them on a dry paper towel and enjoy!

Frost Body Art

You will need:
Ben Nye White Liquid Body Paint
Ben Nye Blue Liquid Body Paint
Ben Nye Purple Liquid Body Paint

Instructions:

1. Apply a small drop of purple under your eye with a sponge.
2. Mix it with some white paint so it doesn’t look too bold.
3. When this is dry, create curly white strips around your eyes (Look at image for help).
4. Apply blue paint on your eyelids and under your eyebrow.
5. Use white paint to make the blue lighter around the corner of your eyes.
6. Mix some blue and white paint together and draw little drops of baby blue paint under your eye.
7. Lastly, draw a small white snowflake under your brow and smaller white dots for snow.

Holly Body Art

You will need:
Ben Nye White Liquid Body Paint
Ben Nye Red Liquid Body Paint
Ben Nye Green Liquid Body Paint
Ben Nye Black Liquid Body Paint

Instructions:

1. With a sponge, carefully apply some green liquid paint around your eyes making sure it fades out.
2. With red and white paint create curls and thin strips like the image shows.
3. Outline in black paint.
4. Draw a piece of holly, candy cane and cute red bow.
5. Finish with some white dots of snow.

You will need:
Sponges
Ben Nye Warm Brown, Red, Black and White Liquid Body Paint
Mirror
Tissues and water (To clean your sponges)

Instructions:
Apply a thin layer of brown paint all over your face with a sponge.
When dry, apply some white paint on your chin and over eyes with a sponge.
With your finger, make a few oval prints on your forehead and cheeks with the white face paint.
You can now draw a thin black line from the edge of your nose and over your eyebrows with the attached brush.
Next, draw a black line under your nose, on your lips and curl out from the side of your mouth.
Finally, give yourself a red nose using either the brush or sponge.
