Below I have picked my three favourites which will look amazing with any costume. The blood splat contact lenses have a gruesome appearance which is perfect for any blood thirsty costume. They are ideal for vampire, zombie, witch and serial killer costumes so use your imagination and come up with the goriest costume you can. The green werewolf contact lenses have a brilliantly bright colour that will make your eyes and your costume stand out from the crowd. Finish off any werewolf, snake, lizard, frog or green eyed monster costume in style. These lenses will make your eyes look more defined and the black jagged outer ring adds a funky finish. For an all out creepy look I love the range of mesh contact lenses like the yellow one below. They come in a range of different colours and there is even a selection of UV ones too. The mesh design completely covers your iris and pupil but the small holes in the design let you see through. Your vision is slightly impaired, it has been described as similar to being in a smokey room, so do not wear if you are driving etc. These lenses look amazing as part of any insect, alien or futuristic costume as they completely change your look. Finish off your costume with a funky style and get everyone looking with a freaky pair of costume contact lenses.

There are hundreds of different colours, themes and styles of contact lenses to choose from so picking my favourite colour contact lenses is not as simple as it first seems. Depending on what finish you want to go for depends on what type of colour lenses to look at, for example do you want a natural finish or a bold attention grabbing look for a complete change? Below I have picked a selection of coloured contact lenses that I really like with a range of different themes as picking just one is way too hard.

Coloured Contact Lenses

If you are going to go to a fancy dress party or dress up for halloween then the bolder and brighter the lenses the better. Here I have picked some of my favourite contact lenses that I would team with a funky costume as they will draw attention and make any costume stand out. The green mesh contact lenses create a truly disturbing look and they cover your entire eye but don’t panic you can still see through! The mesh designs are inventive and original and can be incorporated into any costume and that is what I like about them, and the fact that they come in a range of different colours too. Cat eye lenses are also a firm favourite as I think the fact that they completely change the look of your eye is awesome. The different colours work with different types of costumes too for example a bright red would finish off a devil costume perfectly. White contact lenses are my favourites for freaking everyone out as they are so bright and completely drain your eyes of any colour. Although I personally would wear these lenses with some form of fancy dress or Halloween costume, you can always wear them with absolutely any outfit you like.

Natural Looking Lenses

Sometimes it’s nice to have a little change without it being too unnatural looking or noticeable so that is where the natural finish contact lenses come into play. When choosing natural colour contact lenses it is wise to take into account your natural eye colour as some lenses incorporate your natural colour too. I have naturally blue eyes so the natural lenses below are ones that I think would suit me without changing my eyes too drastically. If I was looking for a natural boost I would go for a pair of blue lenses that incorporate my natural colour too. These create a more vibrant definition and brighten up my eyes without looking strange or unnatural. For a subtle change I would select a pair of natural looking green contact lenses. The green 3 tone lenses below are my favourite as they have the most natural looking finish and they come in natural blues and browns too. To get brown looking eyes I would go for a mid tone hazel colour like the one below, as it’s not too light or too dark and hazel would be a great alternative to my natural blue colour.
