Funk Pills

If, like me, you have a real problem with the legality of "real" pills, then these are for you. I got put onto these by a friend, and I have to say that they worked really, really well. Takes a bit longer to come up than a real E but when you're there it’s definitely the same - perhaps not quite as intense as some have said, but read on. GF and me took half each before going out in town to a new house club, and felt that it took ages to come up (GF never had a real E before, but had tried speed). I kept her right and was forced to agree. Then she started feeling really sick, which passed pretty quickly, while I was getting the familiar tingling in the feet and hands that I always get (this was about 1hr after dropping). In the club they took hold a bit, so I decided to take another half, but ended up messing up the breaking process so took another whole one. Needless to say, that was me on a proper high for a good few hours, dancing like mad, gibbering shit, rushing, visuals - the lot!! GF had a good time on only a half too.

These are a good "in" for someone new to pills, and a fantastic alternative if you want to avoid the kind of shady character that you usually have to meet to get real pills.

If there’s one thing I can say about funk pills – do not underestimate the effects…unlike other ‘legal highs’ these took me a little more that just by pleasant surprise! If you’re anything like me with regards to how well a legal substance will work, you may be the type of person who would be inclined to take more than the packaging suggests. Well, let’s just say I decided to take two Big Grins and one Flying Angel.

Nothing for the first half an hour. After a while, I began to feel sick and the nausea came and went for minutes before I had to make a trip to the toilets to let some of it come out. After this, I decided to eat a peach to settle my stomach a little. The second stage I assume was the flying angel kicking in. This took about 2 hours to reach peak, very much like E, though not quite as intense. The come-down isn’t bad, and you certainly don’t feel the need to take more. Content is the best word to describe it.

I’d definitely take funk pills again. I’ll also be taking one pill at a time because I’ve now learnt that it’s not another shitty, overrated legal high, like many I have already experienced.

I took one flying angel pill before leaving for an outdoor concert. I was disappointed in how long it took to kick in, at least 90 minutes before I was feeling the full effects. The main effect I noticed was feeling upbeat and very talkative, and apparently I was talking kinda funny too but I wasn't aware of that. I was expecting to feel a bit more energized and trippy than I was, but I think if my one hitter had worked in the wind and rain it would have added to the trippiness and I was energetic enough at least, not that tingly but dancing my butt off. Started feeling the effects wear off about 6 hours after dropping but I remained wide awake and talkative for some time after that. Went to bed 9 hours after dropping, but I could have stayed up later. I was a bit drained the next day but nothing serious. The biggest problem was that my appetite remained suppressed. I could eat but filled up quickly. Though I was expecting to be a bit more messed up from this pill, I will buy it again as it was very smooth and very enjoyable. There was really no negative side effects to speak of.

It took me a while to come up on this, about 90 minutes, but I was really surprised at how good it was. You get a very similar head buzz to real ecstasy, just perhaps not quite as intense. I actually took 3 of these pills on the second night of a 2-day dance festival, spaced apart by about 2 hours, and they certainly did the trick! I felt fine, very full of energy and happiness, and up for dancing.

However, I think it's the chaining together of these pills that works significantly less than real ecstasy. After I'd taken my third pill I expected to have another surge of energy, but I seemed to be reaching a plateau - I still felt extremely mentally alert and happy, but my muscles were hurting a bit too much to dance, a feeling which the real stuff tends to conceal. There's not much point doing more than 3 of these in a row if you're planning to dance all night, but you'll still be feeling great the whole time.

I actually found these pills quite trippy - after 3 of them my vision and perception was notably distorted, but never really in an uncomfortable way.

Some more energy would be appreciated, but for a pill trying to simulate the empathic and euphoric effects of ecstasy, these babies are top notch!
